6th Annual Winternights Viking Festival is held in Vernon, NJ

Admission: $3 adults/$2 seniors/children
children under 12 free
$2 of gate goes to charity(Veterans/our warriors)
$1 again goes to the Northern NJ Veterans Cemetery
$1 goes towards helping saving local WVM VFW Post-8441

Vetrnaetr marks the beginning of winter. This Viking/Norse cultural celebration honors women and the spirits of those gone but among us. It was one of 3 important celebrations held.

Re-joining us this year a welcome guest - Kellianna. A vendor(CD's) and a performer (singer of songs of myth and magic) . She also now is an author as well, having created the 1st book of the Warrior Queen Chronicles. Your chance to have it signed in person awaits you at the festival.

Norsewind band will return again this year. Authentic Scandinavian food will be available along with early Viking games for all ages. Build your own longboat will be returning for kids,including grown up ones LOL. Festival vendors will be present with crafts & merchandise. Story telling, troll bridge entry, a fortune telling Oracle, and more.

We also are expecting an authentic reproduction of a Viking Longboat include raising and lowering of it sail, artifacts, all by knowledgeable former curators at at museum.
