Special Edition Toddler Time: Creatures Great and Small - Join us on October 18th as we learn about Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus and animal classification. Preschoolers love to sort and organize so we will put those skills to the test and learn what animals have in common. Whether fur or scales, beaks or gills, we will sort them into their proper families. The Academy of Natural Science will be on hand with some live examples of animals that Linnaeus helped to classify. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet a fox snake, eastern screech owl, and box turtle in person!
Toddler Time is a specially designed program for children ages 18 months to 4 years old. The cost is $5 per child or free for museum Household Members. There is no charge for accompanying caregivers. Register at www.americanswedish.org or pay at the door.
