Join the American Swedish Historical Museum for a very special Swedish holiday tradition. Enjoy cocktails and an authentic smörgåsbord with all the Swedish favorites like homemade meatballs, a variety of herring, beet salad, salmon, sausages, Jansson’s temptation and more! Following the dinner is the beautiful Lucia procession. A Christmas Market, or “julmarknad” in Swedish, will be open all evening, offering unique holiday gifts like ornaments, candles, textiles, and more. Plenty of tasty treats are also offered: seasonal favorites like cheese, herring, and the very popular baked goods.
Reservations are required; sign up by calling the Museum at (215) 389-1776, or online at www.americanswedish.org/calendar.htm. Tickets are $60 ($50 for Museum members). RSVP by Monday, November 28.
