Julglädje- A kickoff to Making Traditions at the American Swedish institute
Songs, stories and smiles are the hallmarks of Julglädje; the word translates as “Christmas joy,” and the entire family is invited to share and create memories at this annual holiday performance hosted by Ross Sutter. Ross and his friends play a rollicking collection of Swedish and American holiday tunes that evoke the feeling of standing around the family piano and sharing music, old time tales and laughs. Ross will be joined by Marya Hart on piano and Cheryl Paschke on nyckelharpa and fiddle. Storytelling by Rose Arowsmith-Decoux.
