Use classic wet felting techniques to create something perfect for winter: a custom pair of warm, wooly slippers. Start by tracing your foot to make your individualized pattern. Then, by layering wool over the pattern, adding soapy water, rolling and shaping the project, we will create seamless slippers customized to your feet. Participants will have a variety of wool colors to choose from in order to make the slippers uniquely their own. Please note that this workshop requires some hand strength and standing for extended periods of time.
Please bring 2-3 large towels, a plastic bag and a plastic apron (optional). Students can purchase lunch from FIKA, ASI’s café, or bring a bag lunch.
