Are you interested in discovering your Swedish ancestors?

Instructors Dee and Ray Keinow demonstrate how to research genealogy through tools including Swedish computer databases, internet research and Swedish Church Parish databases, using online resources including Genline (now part of Ancestry.com International), Archives Digital and EmiWeb. Learn how to do successful genealogical research by accessing available records and analyzing data. Leave knowing how to continue your research.

Bring questions! As time allows, the instructors will help with queries. Your Swedish family tree awaits!

It’s an all-day workshop, so bring a lunch or plan to purchase one from FIKA.

Please purchase the required textbook, Your Swedish Roots, at the ASI Museum Store in person or by calling 612-870-3364. Remember to buy the book before the day of the workshop; the Store does not open until 10 a.m. on Fridays.

Please register for this workshop by April 15.
