This spring, Swedish pianist Per Tengstrand returns for the Music on Park Avenue concert series and concludes his performances of Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas.

Per Tengstrand ends the journey through Beethoven’s piano sonatas with the three last sonatas, Op. 109, 110 and 111, a wonder of poetic expression in music. Beethoven had five years more to live following these works, but never wrote another piano sonata.
