Nordic Table Demonstration: Semla, the Swedish Cream Puff
Perhaps you’ve eaten a cardamom bun, but have you ever tried one stuffed with almond paste and whipped cream? Historically, the semla was served only on Fettisdagen (Fat Tuesday) in preparation for Lenten fasting.
