Smed tells the musical story of a family that chose to move north within Sweden instead of west to North America. A journey just as uncertain and difficult. Starting in the early 1800s we follow four generations in a story that blends fact with fiction.

The performance is mostly in English with all the songs partly in Swedish. Ulf Nordwall plays the piano, Peter Nordwall saxophone and Maria Bervelius does vocals. Cost $10.
