90th Annual Portland Scandinavian Midsummer Festival!

Every year of Midsummer is special, but this year is particularly remarkable. We are very excited to announce that the Portland Midsummer Festival has received the designation of an Oregon Heritage Tradition Day from the Oregon Heritage Commission!

Scandinavian roots are not required to celebrate Midsummer. It continues to be a fun, family friendly, and important day with centuries-old traditions and everyone is invited!

Food and crafts are available all day from local Nordic clubs, vendors, and artists.
Two stages of entertainment and a beer garden promise continuous entertainment with live music and dancing, all with a Nordic flair.
Awards and honors, including The Scandinavian of the Year Award, will be given on this day
the Midsummer Pole will be raised with much excitement and pomp, followed by festive dancing and singing!
