Hasse Persson’s photographs from the late 1970s and early '80s New York nightclub will be in an exhibition at House of Sweden, DC, starting September 19.
Hasse Persson is one of Sweden’s most respected photographers. He worked as a news photographer in the U.S. from 1967 to 1990, capturing everything from presidential campaigns to the decadent Studio 54 in New York. He has released five photography books and received His Majesty the King’s Medal for his aesthetic achievements as a photographer.
