Celebrate summer with a traditional Scandinavian meal at Wisconsin Public Radio's Crayfish Sommerfest!

Doors open 6:30 PM / Join us for an evening of outdoor dining in the Swedish Style: lots of Crayfish, baby dill potatoes, fresh corn, Swedish cucumber salad, assorted Swedish and Wisconsin cheeses, knäckebröd and baguette tray, Swedish Cardamon shortbread with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, and a shot of chilled Aquavit.

Also: paper lanterns, bibs and paper hats, complete with music and Afternoon Classics host and Central Time's "Food Friday" expert, Lori Skelton, Wisconsin Life Executive Producer Maureen McCollum, and WPR regional staff.

(WPR hosts and Al Johnson’s staff will show how to peel and eat the crayfish and lead the crowd in traditional Swedish songs!)
