Laura Loge, soprano and Knut Erik Jensen, piano, continue their collaboration with Northwest Edvard Grieg Society, Resonance at SOMA Towers and Nordic Northwest. The music takes you into the mountains at the sæter (summer farm) - on a journey with the young sæterjente (farm girl) as she enjoys her cattle, falls in love only to be abandoned, and then lets herself be taken in by the mystical world of Norwegian sprites and spirits. The music also introduces several Norwegian girls who are enjoying the summer and the warmth and light of the midnight sun which illuminates the Norwegian coast and countryside.
