Fika med Pratstund (Swedish Snacks and Chat)

Every Sunday afternoon, July 21 to September 29, Sven Sjöstedt and the Lindstrom Historical Society hosts "Fika med Pratstund" at the Karl Oskar House, Nya Duvemåla, in Ki Chi Saga Park located at 29061 Glader Blvd.

Sven says it is "an open house format, where we will have coffee, donuts and talk about Swedish things and ancestry. My musician friends may even join us for some folk music."

While you are there, you can tour the Karl Oskar House (AKA Nya Duvemåla), which was the house that Swedish novelist Vilhelm Moberg used as his model for the home that his Emigrants would build upon their arrival in Minnesota. Everyone is welcome to participate.
