Swedish waffle day is celebrated with a pop-up caf�.

Swedish v�fflor differ from other types of waffles with their thinner appearance, and a texture more similar to pancakes. They are particularly known for their classic heart shape and even have their own special day: March 25 V�ffeldagen (Waffle Day). Recipes vary widely. Some include eggs (�ggv�fflor), and some don�t and are crispier and light (Frasv�fflor). Others incorporate carbonated water, sour cream, or even heavy cream.
