The sequel to Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy called "The Girl in the Spider's Web" for its English-language release, will be published in 40 countries on August 27, a decade after the author's death. David Lagercrantz, who was commissioned to write the sequel recently said in a story in Dagens Nyheter he was “born” for the job. "I was born for this. Nobody could do it better," he said.

Sweden's Dragon Tattoo publisher Norstedts hired author David Lagercrantz to write a sequel to the popular series that sold 80 million copies worldwide because Larsson himself couldn't do it. He died unexpectedly in 2004, before the books were even published. Stieg Larsson's bestselling series continues with a fourth novel, David Lagercrantz's The Girl in the Spider's Web, to be published at the end of August.

The book is already available to pre-order on www.amazon.com (Released on Sept. 1) Stores will have the book for sale on Aug. 27, according to the Swedish publisher www.norstedts.se
