Sweden's Prince Daniel has a busy program in NYC - visits to the UN, to schools, hospitals and local ventures that truly represent the “local,” “sustainable,” and “natural” in green and greens production along with participation in SACC NY's From Farm to Fork program.

UN guide Judith Abebe has guided a number of visitors through the United Nations’ headquarters in New York City. The other day she guided Prince Daniel. “It was wonderful,” she told daily Swedish Expressen afterwards. Prince Daniel’s official program in the US continues after a few days off in the big apple. He lunched with Sweden’s UN ambassador Mårten Grunditz and took the UN tour. Two Swedish tourists who saw him say an Asian tourist remarked that Daniel looked just like Brad Pitt.

Prince Daniel has also met with the New York Consul General, David Dangoor, explored Gotham Greens's greenhouse built on a rooftop in Brooklyn's Greenpoint, visited Promise Academy Charter Schools run by Harlem Children's Zone and furthered his knowledge in nutritional and health issues by lectures at and a visit to the Lennox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute. Add to the schedule the participation at SACC New York's Green Summit 2011, From Farm to Fork, and you get a clear impression that life as a Prince is not always a walk in the park.
