– The Artworks, the House, the History with Patrik Steorn. Gothenburg Art Museum is one of the most important art collections in Sweden. It contains works from some of the most profiled Swedish, Nordic and European artists, such as Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn, Hanna Pauli, P.S Kröyer, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and many more. Gothenburg celebrates 400 years in 2021, and worldwide guests are welcome to see some of the masterpieces of the art collection in this digital talk with Patrik Steorn, the new Director of the museum. He will talk about the most loved art works in the collection, the generous families who donated the works and the museum’s building from 1923 – which is a landmark in the city.
