Detective Inspector Irene Huss is the popular 2006-2007 crime series (produced by Illusion Film and YellowBird, the company who produced the film-adaptations of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy and the Wallander series screened by Scandinavia House) based on the best-selling crime fiction novels of Helene Tursten, featuring a new breed of crime fighter: DI Irene Huss, a woman in her late thirties who is dedicated to her job and her marriage.

At the Göteborg Violent Crimes Unit, every new case presents its own unique challenges, sometimes forcing Irene’s team to put their lives on the line.
