30th ANNUAL TRADITIONAL SWEDISH CHRISTMAS SERVICE

The Swedish American Historical Society of Wisconsin, Inc. invites you to the 30th Annual Julotta - to welcome Christmas- 2010. The 7 a..m. Christmas morning Julotta service will be held at Whitnall Park Lutheran Church, 105th and Forest Home Avenue (just east of Hwy. 100) in Hales Corners, WI. The Swedish-American Historical Society presents this traditional Swedish service as we strive to maintain the customs and memories of Swedish-Americans who immigrated to the area in the early 1900s. The liturgy will be in Swedish and English. Hymns cherished in Sweden and brought to America by early immigrants will be highlighted in Swedish and English and you are offered an opportunity to worship as early Swedish settlers did and as Sweden does today.
