On Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m., the Swedish American Museum will host a lecture on Tillie Anderson. Learn about the Swedish girl from Skåne who immigrated to Chicago in 1891 and was an avid bicyclist and competitor. She was called “The world champion of women’s racing.” Refreshments will be served. Reservations are recommended. |
