The Swedish American Museum will hold a concert featuring Bruce Sagan and lydia ievins on Wednesday, June 15, at 7 p.m.
Bruce Sagan is one of the foremost Scandinavian fiddle and nyckelharpa players performing and teaching in North America. In a review of his second album, With Friends, a Swedish folk music magazine said he played “som en inföding” (“like a native”). lydia ievins also plays fiddle and nyckelharpa and has traveled in Sweden to steep herself in the traditions there.
This concert will be a celebration of their first album together, Northlands, where more information may be found at http://www.northlandsmusic.com.
