For almost two years the exhibition Five Centuries of Swedish Silver has toured through North America and China. The exhibition was first displayed at the San Francisco International Airport Museum in 2006. From there, the exhibition travelled on to National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa and Scandinavia House in New York in 2007. After this it went on to Shanghai Museum, the last stop at the exhibition tour in the autumn of 2007. The 180 unique items from the Röhsska Museum’s collection are objects from the Swedish Silver tradition from early 16th Century until today, which we are happy to finally presents here in Göteborg during the summer of 2008.
