The Röhsska Museum makes an exhibition in the mill at Sundborn concerning cultural heritage, gender perspective and normative values on the contemporary Swedish Design map. In Karin and Carl Larsson’s creative world, influences from many different parts were mixed, their designing were at their time both multicultural and innovative. With the point of departure in the world, where Karin and Carl Larsson ventured to break the norms, we now exhibit design which challenges the familiar and secure, where tradition meets new cultural manifestations which we today do not conceive as “Swedish” but whom might become as much Swedish tradition as Karin and Carl Larsson is today. 
SUNDBORN GOES EXTREME AGAIN will also be exhibited at the Röhsska Museum, Gothenburg, during November 25, 2008 – March 8, 2009.
