We live in a well-kept, clean, cool 3 bedroom, 2bath apartment by Journal Square, Jersey City. The room can be furnished or unfurnished. You would share the one bathroom with one person. We have laundry in our apartment. There are several stores around the corner, such as grocery stores, Rite Aid, banks or whatever else you think you might need. Our house is close to the PATH train, which will swiftly and smoothly take you into Manhattan. It takes about 20 min from Journal Square to West Village and about 10 min to World Trade Center. The PATH runs 24 h/day, 7 days a week. The monthly rent is 740 dollars, plus utilities that tend to run around 100 dollars for each roommate, depending on season and usage. There will also be a deposit upon move-in.
