Charlotte's crispbread
Quick, easy and definitely better than chocolate .. well, at least some of the time.

How do you know when you've made a new friend? When you start exchanging recipes of course. When my new friend Charlotte gave me her recipe for ”knäckebröd,” I had already heard rumors about it, and it sure tastes like nothing else. It only takes minutes to mix the ingredients together, and an hour later you have ”knäckebröd” to die for.

Ingredients:
8 ounces cornflour
4 ounces sunflower seeds
4 ounces peeled sesame seeds
2 ounces oil (I used rapeseed oil, but canola oil is also fine)
8 ounces boiling water
½ teaspoon salt
flake salt to taste (I used a garlic mix)

Instruction:
Preheat oven to 300˚F.
Mix all the ingredients except the flake salt together in a bowl.
Put baking paper on a cookie sheet.
Pour the batter on top of it, put another paper over it, and using a rolling pin distribute the batter evenly over the entire cookie sheet, making sure it is really thin.
Remove the top paper and drizzle flake salt on top of the ”knäckebröd.” Use your hands to lightly push the flake salt into the batter, so it doesn’t come off. Put in oven and let bake for one hour.
