Did you know that starting October 1, you can apply to stay at a hotel for free in Stockholm if you’re a blogger? The specially designed room, called “concept room”, includes most of what a blogger might need: An iPad, a laptop, a camera, a tripod for the camera (for smoother outfit-of-the-day pics), and wifi loudspeakers.

A survey created by the hotel chain Scandic and sent out to 200 of Sweden’s most popular bloggers, shows that many bloggers refrain from covering certain events because of the high price of staying in a hotel.

The survey also shows that the needs of a blogger are vastly different from those of a traveling businessman, and that is something that Scandic is now trying to learn more about.
