Scandinavian royalties and other heads-of- states joined for a historic gathering at the Hilton Hotel in New York City.
As the American-Scandinavian Foundation celebrated 100 years of building cultural and educational bridges between the US and the Nordic countries, Scandinavian royalties and other heads-of- states joined for a historic gathering, a gala at the posh Hilton Hotel in New York City. Present were: Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine of Sweden along with President of Iceland Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and his wife Dorrit Moussaieff, and President of Finland Tarja Halonen.
