Gold in Hälsingland's forests
There's gold to be found in the forests of a province in central Sweden. New analytical results show that the precious metal can be found in the forests around Vandelån, Hälsingland, a few miles west of Ljusdal. “Partaking in those results was quite a Christmas gift,” says Bengt Ljung, managing director of Botnia Exploration to daily Ljusdals-Posten. The company has been looking for gold in the area since 2007, and is now hoping for a breakthrough.
